Bordentown Regional High School theatre alum and former Cappies Critic Nicholas Rodriguez (BRHS class of 2010, now performs under the stage name Nicholas Edwards) began rehearsals yesterday for his Broadway debut in the hit Disney musical Frozen.

Nick is an alumni member of  Bordentown Regional High School's theatrical honor society, International Thespian Society Troupe 6803.  During his time at BRHS, Nick starred as Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and won the 2010 Greater Philadelphia Cappie Awards for Outstanding Male Vocalist and Outstanding Song. 

Since then, he earned his degree in Musical Theatre from Montclair State University and has gone on to star Off-Broadway in Spamilton and as Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar at Signature Theatre. He comes to Frozen directly from performing in the national Broadway tour of Les Miserables.
