Welcome to St. Louis Cappies, one of the largest Cappies programs in the State of Missouri. Now in its eighth season, SLC invites public and private high schools from St. Louis, St. Charles and Jefferson Counties to participate in this extraordinary organization. The St. Louis Cappies strives to recognize our talented community of young people by upholding the mission of this international organization:
Mission of the Cappies:
- to provide a unique collaborative learning experience for high school theater students,
- to encourage, and advance the training of, student
- writers, performing artists, and technical crew,
- to inspire creativity and critical thinking,
- to offer constructive critical feedback for student theatrical endeavors,
- to foster more community recognition of student achievement in theater arts, and
- to enhance, celebrate, and add excitement to high school theater across America.

Individual schools may submit applications for the 2011-12 school year now! Applications are being accepted until September 28th. Training will be held at Rockwood Summit on Oct. 1st from 9:00 - 12:30 a.m.
