Welcome to the Orange County Cappies of Southern California! Now in its 9th season, OCC invites public and private high schools to join us from Orange County to Celebrate High School Theater!
The Orange County Cappies was initiated by the Orange County Department of Education in 2003 making it the first in California! This past year, OC Cappies included 35 schools where Cappies critics reviewed 61 productions, wrote over 1400 reviews, and gave out 39 awards at the end of the year Tony's-style Cappies gala!
OC Cappies works with the Orange County Department of Education and current season student reviews are published on The Orange County Register website.
