Welcome to the Orange County Cappies of Southern California! Now in its sixth season, OCC invites public and private high schools to join us from Orange County to Celebrate High School Theater!
The Orange County Cappies was initiated by the Orange County Department of Education in 2003 making it the first in California! This past year, OC Cappies included 26 schools and Cappie critics had the opportunity to see 52 productions at their area high schools.
OC Cappies works together with the Orange County Department of Education, Center for Excellence in Education and current season student reviews are published on The Orange County Register website.
