| PLEASE PUT THESE DATES ON YOUR CALENDARS! Critics and Mentors need to attend only one training session. * Tuesday, September 28, 2010 - All school applications due by 5:00 p.m. * Saturday, October 2, 2010 (10 am - 1 pm) - Cappies critics AND mentor training at: Leis Center 7428 Camp Alger Avenue Falls Church, VA 22042 This training is the first of several OPTIONS for ALL critics and mentors-new and returning. (Lead critics need to attend ONLY the training on Saturday, October 16th.) * Wednesday, October 6, 2010 (7:30 pm - 10:30 pm) at Leis Center. This is the second option open to all critics and mentors both new and returning. * Thursday, October 7, 2010 (7 pm - 10 pm) at TBA, hopefully in Maryland. This is the second option open to all critics and mentors both new and returning. * Saturday, October 9, 2010 (10 am - 1 pm) at TBA, hopefully in Maryland. This is the third option open to all critics and mentors both new and returning. * Wednesday, October 13, 2010 (7 pm - 10 pm) at TBA, hopefully in Washington, DC. This option is open to all critics both new and returning. THUS IS NOT A MENTOR TRAINING SESSION. * Saturday, October 16, 2010 (10 am - 4 pm) at the Leis Center. Lead Critic Training and DRAFT for team assignments. The Lead Critic MUST attend the entire session or send a representative** who will also stay the entire session, and who will know of the school's theatre program/other conflict dates. (**Representative may be the theatre teacher, a critic, or a parent.) IF A SCHOOL IS NOT REPRESENTED, THE TEAM MAY NOT ACTIVATE ITS CRITIC TEAM UNTIL AFTER MID-YEAR TRAINING--NO EXCEPTIONS! * Tuesday, January 11, 2011 (7 pm - 10 pm) at Leis Center. This is one of two mid-year training options for new critics and mentors. * Thursday, January 20, 2011 (7 pm - 10 pm) at Leis Center. This the second of two mid-year training options for new critics and mentors. * Saturday, May 7, 2011 is LAST CAPPIES PERFORMANCES. * Thursday, May 12, 2011 from (4 pm - 7 pm)at Leis Center. Voting for exceptional reasons--to be explained later. * Sunday, May 15, 2011 from 8 am - 11 pm at Leis Center. CAPPIES VOTING DAY IN SEVERAL SHIFTS FOR WHICH SIGN UP WILL BE PROVIDED. * Sunday, June 12, 2011 is the Twelfth Annual Cappies Gala at the John F. Kennedy Center -- 7 pm curtain. |
